The School Day

Morning            8.45 a.m. - 12.00 p.m.

 

Afternoon        1.00 p.m. -  3.30 p.m.

There is a short break mid-morning for all children and mid-afternoon for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Please arrive at school on time

Children should arrive between 8.30 and 8.45 a.m. No child should arrive before 8.30 a.m., unless they are going to Breakfast Club.

Please inform us on the first day if your child is absent from school. In this way we both know your child is safe and we are able to fulfill our legal obligations.

Children are not allowed to leave school during the day without a written request from parents.

Children must report to the school office whenever they are arriving or departing at a time other than the beginning or end of each session.  If children are not in school during the morning session or leave school for an appointment they should return either before 12.00 or at 12.55 and NOT during the lunch break.                        

In the interests of safety we would like parents to accompany the children on these occasions.

Lunchtime        12.00 p.m. - 1.00 p.m.

Each child should bring a packed lunch which is eaten in the classroom.

At lunchtimes the children are supervised and supported by one senior lunchtime supervisor and ten assistant supervisors.

Children may go home for lunch but should not return to the school playground until 12.55 p.m.

If any child’s lunchtime arrangements change, the school secretary should be informed immediately.
