Safeguarding Children

All children have the right to be safe and Grange Junior School has procedures in place to protect them. All staff are aware of what action to take when dealing with a child protection issue.

We aim to ensure all children at Grange Junior School have a safe environment in which they can enjoy learning and develop personally.

We carefully check the suitability of staff and volunteers who work with our pupils. We actively encourage children to be aware of the skills needed to keep them safe at school and within their life and experiences.

We will conitinually develop and then implement procedures for identifying and reporting cases, or suspected cases, of abuse and subsequently  supporting pupils who have been abused in accordance with his/her agreed child protection plan.
